This piece is an exploration into my memory. A six and a half minute long ambient piece written with the purpose of striking some nostalgic chord. The piano loop, low rumbling drone and beeping synthesizer phase in and out with each other, creating rhythmic patterns. The 260 foot long tape loop stretches across the hallway, and joins with the 4-track tape deck sitting on a table covered in used destroyed tape. By using these old tapes and faux-wood paneled devices I tried to recreate the memory I had sitting in my old house as a child, listening to my mother playing piano on the other side of the house.
